Rocking your socks off in 2008!

I am excited about what is coming up in 2008!

Here is what I intend to accomplish this year:

  • Train for and run a marathon
  • Learn to play guitar and join a band
  • Become a much-sought after wedding singer
  • Begin writing a best-selling novel
  • Train myself in website design
  • Coach participants at Panic Relief and train as a life coach
  • Be financially independent
  • Create the next level of challenging myself through personal development
  • Begin training as a motivational speaker
  • Take seminars and workshops to hone my craft of writing
  • Learn the craft of acting and get involved with voiceover work
  • Create a plan to use my creativity in my career and other pursuits
  • Be in love with Shannon more than ever before
  • Stand for unity and harmony in our family
  • Create a business and a business plan as an educational consultant
  • Create a personal mission statement and a theme for my life
  • Do at least one thing every day that inspires or frightens me
  • Go on at least one adventure every month
  • Make plans for the pursuit of higher education
  • Read the Bible, cover to cover, and at least one Biblical commentary
  • Read all of my mail, every day, including all bills and junk mail
  • Throw things out that I don't need or give things away to those who need what I have
  • Go to church, or worship God, at least once a week
  • Pray to God at least once a day
  • Put events and plans in my paper calendar, and use my PDA and phone to organize
  • Do my laundry at least once a week
  • Go to the gym: swim, work out with cardio, or lift weights at least every other day
  • Read a book a month, and encourage others to read through my book club
  • Meet at least one new person or make one new friend every month
  • Learn how to cook, maintain cars and do simple maintenance around the house
  • Always have a book out from the library, and always return things promptly
  • Pay all debts right away and have other people be a priority for me

What did I miss? The nice thing about creating the new year is, it is only limited by my own imagination! I anticipate adding things to my list and I look forward to your feedback, if you would be generous enough to give it! Feel free to write anything else you would like to see me take on, especially if you know me, or anything you are taking on for yourself in the new year!

We can inspire each other with what we are up to in our lives!

Cheers!
